Shelly Weiss Storbeck previously was the Managing Director of the Education Practice of A.T. Kearney, Inc., an international search and consulting firm. Ms. Storbeck has conducted more than 400 searches for public and private universities, colleges and schools, and not-for-profit associations and organizations. Before joining A.T. Kearney, Ms. Storbeck was a senior associate and Administrative Officer for the education practice at Korn/Ferry International.
Ms. Storbeck writes, speaks, and consults on issues relating to higher education across the United States. She has served as chair of the American Council on Education (ACE) Executive Search Roundtable and is a member of the ACE National Identification Program. Prior to entering the search industry, Ms. Storbeck served as Assistant to the President for Educational Affairs at Haverford College (Haverford, PA). In that post, Ms. Storbeck gained experience in all senior administrative searches as well as chaired Haverford’s Middle States Accreditation Process.
Ms. Storbeck taught English at the Baldwin School (Bryn Mawr, PA) and English and Religion at Phillips Academy (Andover, MA). She is a member of the Modern Language Association and former member of the Philadelphia School District Collaborative Committee for Schools and Colleges.

Alberto M. Pimentel has led and managed hundreds of search assignments for a variety of public and private universities and colleges, non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies over the course of the past 16 years. He has successfully recruited candidates for both academic and administrative positions for university systems as well as individual campuses. His experience includes conducting searches for Chancellors, Presidents, Provosts, Vice Presidents, Academic Deans, Executive Directors, Directors and Managers across all functional areas.
Mr. Pimentel was a Vice President in the Education and Non-Profit Practices of A.T. Kearney Executive Search. Previously, Mr. Pimentel was a search consultant in the Education Practice of Witt, Kieffer, Ford, Hadelman & Lloyd and a Principal in the Los Angeles office of Korn/Ferry International, working in that firm’s Education and Non-Profit Practice.

Charles I. Bunting conducts searches for senior positions in colleges, universities, and other non-profit organizations, and has been working in executive search since 2000. While Chancellor of the Vermont State Colleges over the prior fifteen years, Dr. Bunting co-chaired and guided all of the system’s presidential searches.
In addition to his work in executive search, Dr. Bunting is a member of the Board of Trustees of Hampton University, is a member of the Board of Directors of United Educators Insurance RRG, and is a member of the Advisory Council for The Virginia B. Smith Innovative Leadership Award. Dr. Bunting also serves as senior advisor for Jobs for the Future and chairs the Board of Directors of the Visiting Nurse Association of Chittenden County, Vermont.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Bunting was a founding member of the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education, also serving as its Director and Deputy Director. He also served as Chief of Staff for the U.S. Department of Education during its founding year. Subsequently, he held two senior administrative positions at Vassar College. Dr. Bunting is a former chair of the board of trustees of the Council for Adult and Experiential Education (CAEL), President of the Harvard Graduate School of Education Alumni Association, and President of the State Higher Education Executive Officers Association. He is also a former member of the Vermont Business Roundtable and the American Council on Education Commission on Governmental Relations. Anne has more than 20 years of experience in executive search, higher education, business, and government. Prior to joining Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates, she spent several years with an international search firm, where she focused on educational searches. Prior to that, she was the director of admissions at the Yale School of Management. Before Yale, Anne spent five years with a boutique search firm in New York, specializing in nonprofit searches. Earlier in her career, she managed McKinsey & Company’s efforts to recruit scientists, engineers, doctors, and lawyers. Anne also directed admissions at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. Her public policy experience ranges from having served as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Senate Budget Committee to working on human resource and budget issues for New York City’s Mayor Ed Koch.

Stephen Leo is a founding principal of Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates. A seasoned search professional, Mr. Leo has conducted numerous searches in higher education and in the nonprofit sector for presidents, vice presidents, senior development officers, deans, and other executives. Prior to joining Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates, Mr. Leo served as a consultant in the Education Practice at A.T. Kearney for six years.
Prior to joining A.T. Kearney Executive Search, Mr. Leo served as a senior search consultant at an international search firm placing senior executives in a variety of industries – corporate, academic and not-for-profit, for clients based in North America and Europe. While living in London, Mr. Leo served as Vice President for International Recruiting & Operations for a major international search firm based in Europe. She worked closely with the Board of Trustees, and was named Acting Secretary of the College in her final year.

Her work also includes searches within the non-profit sector where she specialzed in the areas of institutional advancement and development.
